This guy is to be avoided at all costs.Dont trust a word that comes out of his mouth,he may have the gift of the gab but dont fall for the patter.This guy has broken every ethic in the book.
Anyone considering using or working with this guy should check him out on ussearch.com,criminal record for assault on a cop and resisting arrest with violence.Nasty piece of work.He's now working for signature sothebys in sarasota.
John Maurice Connaughton Real Estate Broker License # BK3133453 is a chronic alcoholic. He often never shows up at work at his office located at 1425 Main Street in Sarasota because he has a severe hangover.
1.He is often seen stumbling around Main Street Drunk.
2.He has also been arrested for Battery in Sarasota and Dade County Florida.
3.He Has been thrown out of several Bars in Sarasota because of his loud belligerent behavior.
4 With his history of Drinking, Violence and unethical business dealings any person would be taking a Major Risk financially and possibly putting their life in danger if they were to have any dealings with John Maurice Connaughton.
5. Why he still has a Brokers License is a Mystery. Perhaps no one has notified the Department of Business and Professional Regulation and made them aware of Mr. Connaughton's long history of drunkenness, unethical dealings and violence behavior.

I have known Mr. Connaughton to be an excellent broker for many years. He has always shown himself to be honest and reputable in all his business dealings. I would highly recommend him to anyone who was interested in any Real Estate transaction.
